🔒 Short version: unfollow.pro runs entirely in your browser. We do not collect, store, or transmit your Instagram data or credentials to any server we control. Your follower data never leaves your device.

1. What We Collect

We do not collect:

Your Instagram username, password, or session tokens
Your followers or following lists
Any content from your Instagram account
Browsing history or activity on Instagram

What is stored locally on your device only:

Your Pro subscription status (true/false) — stored in Chrome extension local storage
Your most recent scan results — stored in Chrome extension local storage, never sent anywhere

2. Payment Information

Payments for Pro subscriptions are processed by Stripe. When you subscribe, Stripe collects your email address and payment details. We receive confirmation of your subscription status from Stripe but do not store your full payment information.

When you verify your Pro subscription, your email address is sent to our verification server (hosted on Vercel) solely to confirm active subscription status with Stripe. We do not store your email address after verification.

3. How the Extension Works

The extension operates entirely within your browser. It accesses Instagram's website using your existing logged-in session to retrieve your following list. This data is processed locally and displayed within the extension. It is not transmitted to our servers.

4. Third-Party Services

Stripe — payment processing. Stripe Privacy Policy
Vercel — hosts our subscription verification API. No personal data is stored.
Instagram / Meta — the extension interacts with instagram.com. Subject to Instagram's Privacy Policy.

5. Data Retention

Scan results and subscription status are stored locally in your browser's extension storage. You can clear this data at any time by removing the extension from Chrome.

6. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
